Training

Private Pilot Licence - PPL

Basic licence for every pilot is Private Pilot Licence - PPL. For some people that is the only goal, to fly for themselves, or to make their dream of becoming a pilot without intention of being professional. For others PPL is foundation of one day succesfull career in aviation. We know how those foundations are important, and by adapting training methods to students goals, we form future pilots in the right way.

Time building

What is actually a Time Building? For those who are planning to become professionals, after PPL licence they are going for Commercial licence training. In order to begin that course student need to have minimum of 150 flight hours in total. Considering that after PPL training pilots usually have 55-65 hours, collection of flight  hours is necesary.

Time Building is not an actual flight training course, so it doesn't have official training programe. Usually people just rent a plane and fly around by themselves. While this can be fun process, it has its drawbacks. Pilot who has 60 hours will create some bad habits and than train them more in flying technique till that 150 hours, and then have problems on CPL course to change all that during short and intensive process. In order to avoid those difficulties and make life easier for candidates later on, we consider Time Building as official training and prepare students for future phases of training.

On the other hand, perhaps you don't have professional ambitions and you just need a bit of flying time with instructor to gain more experience and self confidence in order to be safer pilot. You are more then welcome to fly with us, even on your own plane if that is the case.

Our Training Method

In the last couple of years in commercial flying there are indications of negative effect from agressive modernisation of pilot training. Modern commercial planes are literally capable to fly without pilots, but only while everything goes smoothly. When serious problems arise during flight and quick response is required by pilots, suddenly we have confused delayed action, which is not adequate at all. What is the actual issue here? In crazy fight for profit schools started buying new economic planes with one big "plus", fully modern cockpit that new generation of young instagram grown people are going to like very much, especially because tomorrow they will have the same technology on plane when they find a job. What could be better than to go through everything in easy modern way? Well, all that is nice, untill one day those computers start giving the wrong data during critical phase of flight. In that moment human brain should start acting as a replacement for that faulty computer. But then, completely digitally grown pilot has issues to revert to basics of flying and calculations because...he never learned those basics the right way, not even in his initial training. And that delayed confused reaction comes into play. At this moment industry is in great expansion and now is very difficult to go back to the old style of pilot training. That is why we have decided to be the change in the world that we want to see, and keep the Old School style of training. However, we are aware that pilots should be ready for modern flying, so we offer hybrid system, combination of old and new approach. For example, that means navigating by traditional methods and GPS devices, plane equiped with classic and modern instruments, and our theory learning method that covers both systems. And last but not the least important, the plane. Cessna 150 model, old proven machine. Made of metal, which is by itself refreshing in this crazy plastic plane era, the ones forcefully pushed into "normal"plane category as a result of profit chase. Most of the pilots are going to fly commercial jets made of metal, so why not learn on the same principle with addition of good mix between old and new method of training.
